Continuing Education and Professional Development
Continuing education for instructors will be a prominent feature of this site through postings of instructor quick drills and challenge questions that will engage the instructor and training officer and help them improve their skills.  

Seminar Presentations and Consulting
We feature extensive single day and multiple day workshops on a variety of training, leadership, training program management and safety based topics.  Consultation services on ISO and regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and training needs assessment review are available.

Owned and operated by career fire and emergency service educators and training program managers.  We offer "mutual aid" and support to instructors and training officers who need a hand in managing and improving their skills and their training efforts.



Fire Rescue International 2013

Thank you for attending the 2013 Fire Rescue International Conference in Chicago!  I was honored to present 3 programs during the officer development series to over 200 attendees this year.  In this folder, you will find the PowerPoint presentations that we used in class and some misc. resources that may help you in your efforts to improve your training programs and safety investigation processes.  I will continue to upload information into these folders over the next week, I hope if you have information to share, you will do so soon.  The 3 programs presented were:

Iowa Training Officers Workshop

Indiana Tactical Safety and Building Construction

Thanks again to IN District 1 Training Council and Chief Mike Parks for hosting an exciting one day seminar on fire behavior, safety and modern tactics at St Mary's Medical Center in Hobart on March 16th.  The news story will contain the powerpoint presentation and other content used in the class as well as links to more resources that can help you educate and learn more about fire behavior and tactics.


Fire Instructors and Training Officers Association of Minnesota

Over 100 professional fire instructors and training officers participated in their annual conference held in St. Cloud MN.  We presented a 3-part keynote address called;

Indiana District 1 & 5 Best Practices in Training
